i bought a 144hz monitor yesterday and am using msi afterburner. locked at 60hz for skyrim only and no problems yet, dont have to do any sort of dance to play skyrim or another game. 1 Share

With one cable, it works fine. I connected both cable and turn the 4K-144Hz mode one and then it become black. If I turn it off, the screen doesnt come back either. I need to do a hard reset of the computer and remove one of the cable in order to get an image back. The first time I tried, it worked though.
I set: (Skyrim.ini [Havok] / SkyrimPrefs.ini [Display]) fMaxTime=0.0069 / iVSyncPresentInterval=0. 144hz capped with Monitors G-SYNC @ 2560x1440 native resolution, no rivatuner cap, afterburner overlay running, steamoverlay active, I used lowest settings (yes my eyes are bleeding) to ensure it stays at 144fps at all times.
