Caulking is one of the finishing touches to installing custom jobs. Fill nail holes and small seams with wood filler. Place a small amount on your fingertip and rub over a hole or seam. Using a caulk gun, apply paintable trim caulk to seams, crown and trim. Run a small bead along the seam and smooth with a wet finger or cotton cloth.
